​Our Commitment 

At 2nd Chance, we are committed to providing quality mental health and substance use treatment. Frequently, there is a presence of both mental health and substance use disorders in an individual, and by treating both disorders simultaneously there is a greater potential for better outcomes.  We see our clients as more than these diagnoses, but as people who deserve the opportunity to enhance the quality of their lives.  We believe everyone deserves a 2nd Chance. 

Our Agency

2nd Chance is an outpatient program located in Port St. Lucie on the Treasure Coast of South Florida.  At this location for more than ten years, we provide mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders services with in-person treatment, telehealth or telemedicine, or a hybrid of both depending on what will enhance the treatment outcome.  Our clients are of diverse backgrounds, some self-referrals independently understanding a need for positive change, and other clients accepting and flourishing from referrals from other providers.  We collaborate with psychiatric hospitals, detoxification units, private practice physicians, Mental Health Courts, and Drug Courts.  2nd Chance is licensed by the State of Florida Department of Children and Families to provide substance abuse services, and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
